IRCE 2015 Recap
2015 marked Logicbroker’s 5th as an IRCE sponsor and we can safely say the show gets better every year! It is always a pleasure having the opportunity to catch up with partners, chat with clients, and meet new eCommerce enthusiasts. Due to popular demand, we handed out our signature Logicbroker t-shirts at our booth and were especially excited to unveil our latest product release.
Our sales team got a head start on the road to Chicago and arrived Monday afternoon to set up our booth.
The rest of the team flew in on Tuesday and had just enough time to grab a bite at MX and pick up our badges before heading over to the Exhibit Hall for the official start of the show.
The Opening Reception was a blast and flew by. Before we knew it, the team was piling into a cab and heading to Magento’s Champions of Commerce Party at the Chicago Sports Museum. To say we had a blast at the event would be an understatement! The virtual reality sports games (Blair, our Manager of Client Delivery, held the home run record!), delicious drinks, eats, and ‘Commerce Cocktails,’ and the perfect venue that allowed you to converse and enjoy light music, all contributed to a memorable and enjoyable evening.
On Wednesday morning the team arrived at our booth nice and early to prepare the booth for a full day! We were especially grateful to be located near Magento’s coffee bar—their lattes and Americanos powered us through the day. We met a lot of great people and were happy to hand out our t-shirts and Magento Mania scratch-off tickets.
Wednesday night was a busy evening for the team, as we had several partner events to attend. Our first stop was the rooftop lounge, ROOF, at theWit Hotel. It was the perfect location to catch up with a few of our valued clients and enjoy the beautiful Chicago skyline.
Our next stop was at the Public House for dotmailer and Windsor Circle’s Prohibition Party. The sponsors did a wonderful job transforming the venue and we really felt like we were a part of the Roaring 20s! The final stop of the evening was Avalara’s legendary Rocktopia party at Carnivale. With an abundance of orange beads, face masks, and aerial dancers the party was like a mini Mardi Gras. We even bumped into a Logicbroker fan decked out in our shirt!
On the final day at IRCE we fueled up with plenty of lattes, attended meetings and announced our Magento Mania winners.
The conference flew by and before we knew it, we were packing up and heading to the airport. We had an amazing time this year and truly valued every moment we got to spend with our friends. A big thanks to all event sponsors and Internet Retailer for putting the conference together. We are already counting down the days to IRCE 2016!
